Sales Representative - Springfield Location

Hours: Monday – Friday 7 am – 4:30 pm. Team and client meetings sometimes occur outside office hours.

Salary: Depending on qualifications. Commensurate with experience.

Core Responsibilities:
• Be the primary contact for all sales:
o Inside sales
o Outside sales
• Develop and maintain key relationships with builders and contractors
• Promote our products to Architects and gain specifications
• Become a product specialist in all of our products
• Keep track of costs for the various products we offer
• Prepare quotes for contractors, masons and individuals
• Keep an organized calendar of events - whom you met with and projects in the works
• Follow leads given by management and use programs like REED and Dodge to follow jobs
• Assist in office cleaning, including showroom
• Follow all company procedures and policies

Additional Responsibilities:
• Keep samples up to date and organized
• Order samples as needed
• Become involved in the community and local Home Builders Association
• Assist management as directed

Typical Day:
Woare's Inc. is a family owned landscape and masonry supply business. We receive inbound material
and load our own trucks for outbound deliveries on a daily basis. This person will be responsible for
promoting products, drafting specifications, securing purchase orders, assisting in "just in time"
inventory buildup and coordinating shipping of materials to job sites. Sales Representatives will always
be working on developing and maintaining key relationships with our customers and clients. This
includes scouting and cold calling on new customers, taking new samples and literature to Architects
and continuing to service our current customers in the best manner possible. Sales Representatives are
expected to answer phone calls, text messages and email from customers throughout the day.

Dress Code:
We expect clean clothes at the start of each day. Average day attire: khakis or nice denim, appropriate
tops, shoes or boots. You need to be prepared for varying weather conditions: sun, rain, snow etc.
